Orlando would widen their lead to 38-30 on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Maynor to Bret Cooper with 12:23 remaining in the game. However, Cool missed the extra point making it an eight point game. The two teams would go back and forth with neither team scoring until Nashville scored on a 45-yard touchdown pass from back-up QB James Brown to Darryl Hammond. The Kats were successful on a 2-point conversion pass to Cory Fleming. Orlando took a final drive to the Kats' 3-yard line and set-up for a 19-yard field goal with 1.5 seconds remaining on the clock.
