Orlando School of Thai Massage
Class Schedule
The advantages of OUR class are:
- Our unique approach to the teaching method that incorporates, not only a
cognitive awareness of the work, but an envelopment of the work into your
body. We call it "the flow" and we use it to effectively learn
and remember how to conduct your thai yoga massage session so it is both
fluid and beneficial.
- Emphasis on safe yet effective biomechanics to save your hands while
doing the fine and important work with your hands.
- biomechanics of your body and body position for proper force
control/application
- biomechanics of the application of your pressure/stretch on hands,
feet, fingers/thumb, etc...
- Teaching with a greater focus on incorporating the therapeutic benefits
of yoga for
both the practitioner and the client/receiver.
- As a yoga practitioner myself as well as an athletic trainer and
massage therapist of more than 15 years of practice in stretching, I
find this emphasis on conscious mutually beneficial movement allows me
to provide many of these sessions a day invigorating me as I proceed
instead of wearing me down.
- incorporating "the dance" or "FLOW" of thai yoga massage, which is an
evolution of both the teaching and learning from the work in Thailand.
- FL/NCBTMB approved for CEUs !!
